I have finished the C25K and have been working on trying to progress further. What I wanted to know is how do I get Graduate after my name ? Also any suggestion on how should do to progress on either speed training etc or should I just continue as I am running 3 times a week?

Congratulations. To get your badge click the Need Your Badge link in the right hand column of this page. Post grads seem to divide into those chasing speed and those pursuing greater endurance runs. Personally, 10k is my next target, so I am running 2 x 5ks per week with the weekend run being a longer extension run, with a Park Run once a month to gauge general condition. That's the plan anyway.

Congratulations on graduating!

If you look on the right of the page, there is a post under Pinned Posts, "Need to get your badge?" - it tells you what to do. I've never got mine because I don't know the details about my Kindle and it's programme etc!

As for running from now on, the C25k+ podcasts are a good starting point - stepping stones to start you running to a tempo, stamina to get you running fir longer, and speed to get you running intervals at different speeds.

I think I will try the C25K plus a see how I get on. I am nursing a hip injury but a more stretching would help. Thanks again

Why not take a look at Strength and Flexibility pod casts? They really do help and are not as cardio as C5K. They may be just up your street to help with the hip.

Not what you're looking for?
