Hello all, have just made it to Week 9, but have a swollen and painful ankle. Seeing the doctor today, but still want to exercise as summer holiday is 2 weeks away !! Obviously runing is out but any advice on what else I could do, was thinking of cycling?

Cycling, walking (if you can) swimming, I love Pilates but if you are just starting out with it find a good instructor or you just won't get any benefit....
Try the Strength and Flex podcasts. They don't involve running:

See what doctor says first, you don't want to make your ankle worse with your holiday so close. All of the above and walking if doc gives the all clear. Good luck.
