This morning I completed the first run of week 6. I didn't feel like going out for a run, I sort of felt like if I don't do we'll, my success on Friday wouldn't mean anything. The first 5 minute run was difficult, my legs ached and I felt like I couldn't do it. But the test of the run went without a hitch!
Run2 on Tues.
Happy running!

Well done for getting over the initial inertia and just getting on with it! A lot of people find week 6 difficult after the continuous run (and 'high') of w5 r3. I always find the first 3-5 minutes difficult in any run, as I settle into a rhythm, as you did. However, sounds like you cracked it for the start of week 6. Good luck with the rest of it. I actually enjoyed it more once I was able to run without the breaks!
