I'm the same keep waking as sliding down. . I had a backrest delivered from my Respiratory team but didn't like it as too rigid. I currently sleep with 3 pillows but haven't solved the problem of sliding down .Good luck.

Hello,

Sorry you are having sleep issues- it horrible not sleeping well isn’t it ?

I don’t need to sleep whilst propped up even when exacerbating. Have you spoken to anyone about your sleep pattern to see if they can help ?

You could try a pillow wedge ? People use them sometimes for reflux issues, they are used under the mattress to raise it up. Or pop blocks under the legs at the head of the bed - also used for reflux.

Let us know how you get on.

Go well

Pauline

Will speak to someone nx week. I have an appointment then about sleeping 😴 💤 Just answering welshcatlady and saying otherwise it looks like new bed.

I've tried loads of pillows...only thing left is wedge pillows or new bed.

I've read the wedge pillows aren't very good 😕 😐 😑 so talk to someone about it or new bed.🛌...thankyou for answering Pauline HM 🐕

My husband tried extra pillows, bought a wedge pillow, nothing worked, so in the end bought an adjustable bed. That helped, but very pricey, so may not be for you. x

So sorry to hear about your sleepless nights - I really sympathise with you. I tried everything and did get some relief from raising the bed on blocks. However, in the end and knowing I was in this for the long haul, I forked out for an adjustable bed. Brilliant idea, even though a very expensive outlay initially, it was well worth it. Hope you do get some zzzzzzz's in very soon. X

Are you on oxygen at night? If not it sounds like you should be.

late to the party on this post!!! I bought a V pillow absolutely amazing - I use it with my normal two pillows and it sort of helps me to sleep
