Facebook group for Respiratory patients in Gloucestershire.

Hello everyone.

Given the current state of NHS health care, pressure on Respiratory staff and GP practices I thought it might be helpful to start a local Facebook page for the county of Gloucestershire. Where I hope we can support each other locally perhaps leading to restarting Breathe Easy groups. We don’t have any at the moment - they disappeared during the pandemic and haven’t restarted.

The Facebook page is called Gloucestershire Respiratory Patient Support Network. It is a bit of a mouthful but does what it says on the tin!

If you live in Gloucestershire and fancy joining this private group then do pop in a request on the page.

Much as I admire your idea the whole point of the internet and thus of social media web sites like Facebook is their global reach. You may be surprised at how much content your site attracts that is NOT from Gloucestershire! Like mine, for instance.

Hi, well yes, any social media page, group etc is a risk isn’t it ? There is always the block button….
