I am 61 , COPD and Enphasema 1999

Suggest to me I may be suitable for LVR 2 years ago , I have had x-rays, CT scans, hospital 3-4 times with infection and recently had a LFT

Now awaiting results, was to have them on Wednesday, but my appointment with consultant was cancelled as she was unwell. Not very happy. What are the next investigations, directed to LVR

Many thanks

Trevor

Besides considering LVR surgery, discuss if you are a candidate for endobronchial valves. Same net effect, if you qualify, but is done via bronchoscope rather than cutting.John

I can't answer that. You and your doctor need to discuss your best and safest options.
