Blue notes I agree the pain is awful. I got my first taste of sciatica many many years ago when a patient pulled me into the bedrail...many years of physical therapy, traction, etc and nothing was of much help, surgery was a 50/50 risk... I have found there is relief using moist heat, tens unit, and even a lidocaine patch or rub,and now there are CBD rubs you can try. The heating pad is still my best friend😊. Get to a good pain management! Pray!

Good luck...

Stay strong and blessed 🙏.

Years ago I found a chiropractor that used electric pulses instead of bone adjustment that cleared up the pain. I would lay on the table and he would attach them to specific areas on my back and after about 10 minutes we were done. I might have a twinge now and then but that was the best solution for me. If you cannot find that kind of chiropractor then maybe check out a tens unit and there might be u tubes that show you where to place it to work.

I found sleeping on a ground mat provided 50% relief - takes about a month a so. And then slowly continues to improve. Herbal supplements that stop various inflammatory paths include: cats claw (worked good for me, 1-2 days); boswellia extract containing black pepper (also worked 2-4 weeks). Other herbs include ginger, devils claw. Stretching is also important...stretch where it hurts.

Bottom line: now my situation is stable I continue to sleep on grounding mat and take herbal inflammatory. Now back to normal.

That sounds good , will give it all a try , especially the stretching . I have been a bit wary of doing that in case I made it worse . Take care 🤗
