I have copd and have tried to find a natural air freshener for my house. I am using eucalyptus essential oil mixed with baking soda at the moment. Does any of you know if this is safe?
I would appreciate any advice.
Thank you.

Gyms and health spas use it in steam rooms to help un-stuff you, so I think it is safe. But if you have any pets, you should check with your vet, or maybe Google it to make sure it is safe for pets.
Collie4 you will have to find the mixture that works for you. Some people could handle that and for others it could bother their breathing,
Hi I use eucalyptus spray for instant disinfecting, i have a personal diluted version to spray up my nose to clear colds, i also use the oil. Yes it is safe, natural and exceptionally useful.
Hi collie. I am stage 4 emphysema. I've found that cutting up apples oranges and also thyme and putting it in potpourri pot makes the house smell great and doesn't bother my breathing. Just use the peels. You can add whatever you like to suit you. It really does work well.
I'm glad your gonna do this. It really is the easiest way to get the great smells we love without triggering an exasurbation of copd.
