has anyone tried the cannabis oil & has it helped or not?

Not legal in my state for COPD. While the internet is still rife with weed entrepreneurs claiming that CBD extracts are legal in all 50 states, the DEA in December 2016 clarified that CBD oil and similar products are a Schedule I drug, just like marijuana itself. Adding to the confusion is the fact that hemp oil and CBD oil are not the same thing: Hemp oil is made from the seeds and stalk of the plant, not the flower, and contrary to the marketing of some purveyors, you cannot extract CBD from hempseed. Buyer Beware!

Exactly Maryann127... It's not legal in my state either.. However, I'm using it and I get mine where I know exactly what's been used to make it.. Cannabis used "medically" is an amazing plant.. Do I agree with everyone being "stoned" all the time, well no.. There's things you can take when consuming cannabis oil that prevents you from the "euphoric" feeling of being high.. peppercorn..

How many doctor's have to tell us... there's nothing more we can do.. go home and be comfortable.. Really Doc.. I'd like to slap some of the doctor that's told me that.. So I choose to take MY LIFE into my hands..

Had no.idea about the differences I'm wondering if you're from FL? Our Govenor just signed a bill yesterday putting. Making Medical Maruj Juana legal.ive yet to see it .

Medical Marijuana has been legal in Florida since 2014. Friday, 06/23/2017 Scott signed another amendment with additional medical conditions, etc. Newspaper link below with details

I knew someone who used it. She was fighting her third bout of cancer, going through chemo, working full time. Her energy was unbelievable, but she did eventually die of ovarian cancer. So as a cure, jury is still out for me, but I do think it helps as a supplement to help with side effects from cancer treatment.

thanks katherinek , I'm sry about your friend..she fought a brave fight. I remember when cancer seemed like a faraway word because we didn't know anyone with cancer, now several members from my own family have passed from cancer & it seems every other person I know has it. However for myself I was inquiring because I heard it would help with copd & breathing, not a cure but a help..thanks again

Hi frissykat... Please do try Cannabis Oil.. I see in a post above someone offering an invitation to Facebook.. Just be very careful from whom you purchase it... If you go to Facebook and search for "Treating COPD with Cannabis" you'll find a site, created by Jeff Waters,that if you send a request to join they'll approve.. Thanks for that info, I'm going to try that on FB. Med Marijuana was approved in my state but hasn't started yet. To be honest with you I don't know how to approach my pulm doc about the treatment, but after 8 1/2 yrs of O2 and SOB I'd be willing to try anything that would give me a few good days.

frissykat, I don't know if it helps with COPD, I have heard good things, but no real proof. My friend had a friend where the oil was legal, they would send it to her. Unfortunately, it did not cure her cancer. It did however help with the side effects treatment.

I know what you mean, a few years ago cancer was not something you thought about. Now I know way too many people that have or had some kind of cancer.

Oh my goodness. Please do some research and you'll find that CBD and THC are 2 different healing components in the Cannabis Plant.

I didn't mean to upset you. I was looking for information. Quite aware of the difference and also low THC. Sorry to upset you I was hoping to get information as my breathing just gets worse.

I am using cannabis oil with good results. Look for a group called COPD and Cannabis A New Beginning. It's a good group to learn about what you need, how to use it, etc.
