Hi Duff, any gym should be able to work out a program for you, I joined my gym at the local liesure center, they were fantastic and very helpful. I should start there if I were you. Let us know how you get on. Have a great day and take care😊 Bernadette xx

just continue to do the exercises you learned at PR. be sure to use your pulse oximeter to stay in range. Clean the machines, lot's of germs floating around in there.

The hospital I did my pr at actually has an extended program so you can continue right there with full access to the special machines and the rehab therapists. They do a discounted rate - much discounted from what they charged the insurance company. I have been going to mine for over 4 years. Would not hurt to ask them. Although we all get gym membership free thru medicare - it is not the same workout and does not have the Nu step machines.

I did the same at my Pulm rehab. It's called Phase III and it's maintaince phase and not so closely monitered. I also went for four years until I moved

Some facilities offer phase 3 pulmonary Rehab. Such a program can be conducted in a gym that also offers regular gym memberships. Some programs might even supply oxygen. (Phase 3 PR programs usually have limited monitoring, but you usually have to supply your own O2.)
