It is very good. Sometimes I get sob and find I must first take a few gasps of air before I can start pursed but it is a big help to bring your breathing back to normal.

I do it every night in bed as a breathing exercise . I inhale to the count of ten , the hold for a few seconds , then exhale with purse lips slowly to the count of 20. ( double the amount of the inhale) I do this 3 or 4 times to allow my lungs to empty properly.

Pursed lip breathing is very good.

I always use in to climb the stairs.

4 steps at a time. Breathe out as you take the 4 steps with lips pursed and blowing hard.

I am not out of breath when I get to the top. X
