EXERCISE!! Keep moving, the move active you are the better your breathing. What level are you on oxygen? Increased level might be needed. What meds are you on? Maybe you need to start using a nebulizer if not using one now. I also get very sob and know I need to be more active. Easier said than done. Get the treadmill or a stationary bike and use it every day. Good Luck!!

They say by using your muscles you give more oxygen to your body and lungs. So the use it or lose it expression now makes sense to me.

I get very frustrated when I hear of these struggles. I can't feel exactly what your going through, but your description sounds similiar to my experience. Somehow I contracted TB it progressed quite far before diagnosed, I've smoked for years. Was left with 20 percent lung function, was getting frequent colds which led to pneumonia and hospital....having been very active didnt wish to resign myself to meds and O2. Did research, I am med free, use medicinal mushrooms, cordyceps, reishi Chaga and NAC. I still have struggles, not running anywhere, but I work, hike almost daily, take care of my BIG newfie, my house... Please look into some of these natural remedies. THE DOCTORS ARE NOT GODS!
