Good old fishermen’s friends

Hi has anyone found that strong cough sweets produces mucus I found sugar free fishermen’s friends and went for them big style then I woke up coughing up mucus in the night never had that before just trying to think what caused it xxx

I keep a jar of all natural honey mixed with a bit of cinnamon on my kitchen counter. When I wake up in the middle of the night and can't stop coughing, I take a little of the honey mixture. I also take about a teaspoon of it twice a day for the first few days I feel another sinus infection starting up. But you have to be careful if your immune system is compromised. Natural honey can have some not so good for you stuff in it, that's why you can't give it to babies. I also carry Ricola honey herb cough drops.
