Advise please

Hi everyone my stomach and ankles and feet are really swollen and bending over or laying down make me so breathless are these normal symptoms of copd thank you everyone

I have never experienced those symptoms. I would consult your Doc.

Hi teakup.....I would def go have that checked out.. How much swelling is there? The feet and ankles do swell a little with COPD but swelling in the stomach is a different matter... Please get checked..

Are you diabetic or could you have vagus nerve damage from a past surgery? Could be gastroparesis. Those are my symptoms. I would definitely let my doctor know because there are treatments.

I have experienced the problem with bending over, it is how I was diagnosed with COPD initially. More exercise has helped this issue but not cured it. I have not had the swelling or the lying down symptoms. Best of luck.

i have the shortness of breath bending and sometimes lying flat.With copd theres some swelling on front ,beer barrel effect.Had some swelling on feet,i soak my feet once in awhile.If youthink itsbad call doc.

what do you soak them in.

i put some moisterizer inthe med hot water.With this copd hard to wash and take care of feet.Feet dry out and start to swell once in awhile.
