Stage 4 COPD - I'm unsure exactly what this is, but because it's progressive, I'm sure it's not good. I'm not aware of the stages, but will continue to learn. God bless you!

Hi Copper. ..I also have stage 4 copd. You mean very severe, right? My breathing capacity out of 100% was 33% 6 months ago. Don't know what it is now. I'm very depressed about all I can't do anymore. I can't run, swim, ride a bike, hike, lots of things. Are you like that? I'd like to do stem therapy, but it's awfully expensive, up front too.

I'd love to check into stem therapy. How costly is it? I'd find a way to do it if I was a candidate....at least I'd try as hard as possible. That's me that I am talking about of course. I'd never judge anyone else..ever. I had a cousin who went to Texas for this, and they turned her away. She passed away shortly after that. Horrible disease. She smoked for so long. If she'd known, (and we all feel the same) she'd never have smoked her first cigarette. Although there are other ways to get copd.

Phyllis I cheched into it last year in Pittsburg Pa. It cost about 15 thousand. More than I have to spend. It is a 2 part deal I should say it is about 20 thousand for both parts. I had a letter here from them but think I through it out.I found the number on line. Give them a call and good luck.

I Also was diagnosed Stage 4 , 3 months ago an dealing with all the new problems that is coming up from it .you an talk to me any time
