Hi I had a fit test with nhs bowel screening I wasn’t very well at the time as I have a gallbladder polyp and a hiatus hernia the results came back saying I need a colonoscopy despite me telling them I was ill at the time I then had a private qfit test which came back normal as nhs wouldn’t send another test I’m about to do a second qfit test as recommended to do 2 weeks after the first just to make sure so I’m rather confused as to why nhs said the blood reading wasn’t a pass yet private one was can anyone help as I don’t want to go through a colonoscopy unnecessarily thanks

Personally I would go for the colonoscopy as you can’t assume the negative test means all is ok, best to be sure there’s nothing going on.
