hello, I’m 18 and it’s currently 6:43 in the morning and I’ve been up for 2 hours googling like crazy, and i have 3 little ones (a 2 month old and two 2 year olds) to be up with in a couple hours and im not able to sleep because the blood in my stool/no stool just blood is starting to worry me. I first noticed things being different after i had my second c section, my vaginal wall/cervix is prolapsing and i started feeling something coming out of my butt too but thought it was probably hemorrhoids, fast forward about a month and i start noticing blood when i wipe from going to the bathroom, then just last month it started getting worse, now i have blood clots and just going to the bathroom blood and just want to know if i need to go the the emergency room or if i call my PCP
Past surgeries:
1st C section - 4/25/21
Gallbladder removed - 6/14/21

Thank you for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. I hate to hear you’re experiencing all this. You are correct in that these are symptoms that need some good answers. I think you should be the judge on whether you should go to the emergency room or schedule an appointment with your PCP. You would be the best judge of that. If you feel it's an emergency, I wouldn't delay going in. I do know that you need to get some good answers for these symptoms. Anytime there’s presence of blood in the stool there needs to be a known reason.
I would focus on getting these appointments as soon as possible. I would also stop googling symptoms as that is just going to raise the anxiety. Please focus on getting the appointments and getting some good answers to what you have going on. I know this can be a tough time with three little ones to look after, but we need to get you on a path to being well as soon as we can. And btw, I hope the little one are doing well.👍❤️
I do wish you the best in getting the answers you’re looking for. Please focus on getting those appointments made. Please keep us up to speed as to what you find out. It is this type of information that can be beneficial to others on this site as well.
Thank you,
~Tom, GCCA Survivor - Colon Cancer Connected Site Administrator.
Just a reminder - this group is here to offer support, share experiences, and offer our thoughts - but this is not medical advice, and you should always consult your medical professional(s). Additionally, for all emergencies, seek urgent medical care, never delay.
thank you so much, and they’re doing great! they’re taking a nap right now!and we plan on going to see a fireworks show tonight for them! It stopped after this morning and I’m planning on going to the emergency room if it happens again but I’m gonna call my pcp tomorrow when they open because they’re closed today unfortunately
Awesome ... and yay for the little ones👏👏👏 ... enjoy those fireworks🎆🧨 and please do call your PCP. Don't put it off ... Get this behind you and move on ASAP❤️👍💪😁
And just another thought🤔 ... you are young and that's a great advantage. Not that this will happen, but never accept a diagnosis based on your age. Treatment should focus on symptoms not age. You are never too young for symptoms.❤️👍 If the diagnosis seems to be based on being young, ask "If I were 50 years old, would this be the best path to be on?"
