hey guys was wondering if anyone has had stools like this & if I could get any answers what this means. I’m always needing a toilet & also have been vomiting now & again. I have little pains in my left side of belly where it feels like I need the toilet but not every time I actually need it or sometimes it just comes out but with light blood in it.

Hi Lukey223,

Thank you for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. I hate to see that you're having these symptoms going on. One thing I always say is that if there is blood in the stool you need to find the reason for it. There could be many things causing this that are not the big “C”, but it's something that definitely needs to be diagnosed to get you on a path to being well.

So, you need to get this checked out by your doctor. There are many different tests that can help you determine why something is happening. Another thing to think about is if there is any family history of disease. This would be good information for your doctor as well.

I am glad that you posted here and are asking questions about what's going on. Please focus on getting answers for what you are experiencing. Again, it could be many different things but catching things early is always the best thing no matter what's going on. So please get in front of your doctor and have it checked out. Plus, pain is not a good symptom as well. Pain is also a good reason to have it checked out by your doctor.

We do wish you the best in getting good answers. Please let us know what you find out as that type of information can prove to be helpful for others on this site.

Thank you,

~Tom, GCCA Survivor - Colon Cancer Connected Site Administrator.

Hi Lukey223,

Ok there are many different things this could be , you need to get checked out, go to your doctor they will probably do a fit test (see if and how much blood in your poo) and send you for a colonoscopy. I understand this is scary I have literally just gone through it. Mine did turn out to be Cancer , however, that does not mean that yours is as like I said there are so many things it could be. The quicker you get checked the sooner you can deal with whatever it is. If you would like to know my story I can share that with you if you think that may help. I know it is scary but please go to your doctor as the earlier you are diagnosed with whatever it is the sooner you will be on the road to being well again.

mucho love
