For the past month I have had more than usual mucus in my stool. My stool is firm and comes in "balls" not smooth. I try to drink as much water as possible. I also have a dull pain/unfcomfortable feeling sometimes, just below the right rib cage. Blood work turned out great, no issues. No blood in stool or bleeding. Anyone else have the same issues?
Thinking I need to have another colonoscopy. Thinking it may be the onset of IBS. Not sure.
Thoughts? Thanks for your time.

Hi Lefty45629, yes a colonoscopy would be a good idea. I believe a pain on the right side could be gall stones. Has this been ruled out. Are you in the UK? Another visit or call to your surgery would be a good idea. Hope you get the help you need.
Thank you for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. Definitely getting a colonoscopy to determine what's causing that pain and give you peace of mind is the way to go. It could be many different things, but finding out what is causing it needs to happen. I let a little pain in my lower abdomen right side go way to long and really paid the price. I can see you are already ahead of that and now just need answers.
We do wish you well. Please get answers to your situation. In all cases, catching things early and getting things sorted out to a path of wellness is the way to go. Please let us know what you find out.
Thank You,
~Tom, GCCA Survivor - Colon Cancer Connected Site Administrator.
