Hi, I’m just wondering if you have experience having bloods on your poo, does it leave stain on the bowl? Today morning i went straight to pee, I noticed red stain on the bowl, I’m quite unsure if its really blood. I’m afraid to ask my mom if she used to toilet before me 😭

Hi leinssi,

I have not heard that blood would cause a stain in the toilet bowl but I would think it wouldn't if flushed after use? That's just my opinion.

There are some home tests you could do called FIT tests which would give you some information on whether there is blood in the stool. I'm sure if you went to a clinic they could do it as well. This would give you some peace of mind. There are some times that these tests give false positive readings. If it is blood, there can be all kinds of reasons for it and it should definitely get checked out by a doctor.

Bottom line, if this is something you are consistently observing, the best thing to do is get it checked out by a doctor.

We wish you all the best in getting some answers to this situation.

Thank You,
