I’ve bled a lot I think it could be hemorrhoids but my colonoscopy is September the 19. I have blood clots. One day I poop soft the other I am constipated and it’s driving me crazy. I couldn’t poop for three days. I hope it’s nothing to worry about and an easy fix. but any advice or suggestion would help.

Hey lovely. You need to be on the 2 week wait pathway for that bleeding (I'm not sure if your UK?). If you look at my previous posts you can see the bleeding I had. But I don't want to scare you as many people reassured me they had similar bleeding and it was other things like polyps / colitis etc. I was unlucky mine was bc. But it was caught early and I'm so so grateful it was found. But yes please don't panic. Perhaps show your GP the photo to see if they'll push for a quicker referral. Do you get bleeding like this regularly? I had bleeding with most bowel movements, sometimes a lot of blood and sometimes a little. Good luck, I have everything crossed for you xx
Hi Marthaliz0513,
Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected. There can be all kinds of reasons for what you are experiencing. You are doing the best thing and getting that colonoscopy. Blood is definitely a symptom to address. I am very glad you are doing that.
I have never had an issue with constipation. I was always on the other end of that. The variations can change quickly and drive you crazy. I would always work to get some kind of consistency to last as long as possible. Maybe some on this site have some information or experience with constipation.
We do wish you the best in finding out some answers. Please let us know how the colonoscopy goes.
Thank You,

So did you find out what’s going on? How was the colonoscopy?
