Hi sandylo,
Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected.
You present a good question. This all started after your colonoscopies. It looks like you're describing the symptoms of Proctitis. I would have thought you would be given a plan to deal with "diverticulitis. Proctitis and mucosa ibd" when you were told that. It looks like there are several medications that can assist.
Perhaps there are some in this group that are dealing with a similar situation? As a rule of thumb, when something seems "off" or you are experiencing bowel movements or other symptoms that are abnormal for you, it is important to be examined by a doctor.
Is there any pain? Also, is the blood from procedures you had performed? You said this all started after the colonoscopies. If that has been consistent, all the more reason to have your doctor check that out.
On another note ... I had a form of stomach bypass surgery and my stomach would let me know when I was eating something it didn't like. I can't go too spicy or introduce something new in a large quantity. When I do eat something new, I always anticipate an "off" reaction which I hope doesn't occur, but sometimes does.
We do wish you the best in your quest for answers. Please keep us informed as you discover more information.
