I am also anemic. When diagnosed my iron was fine but I lost like 10 pounds after diagnosis. My anemia was 13.9. My bottom is hurting me now like hemorrhoids.

Please speak with your doctor about your anemia and also your weight loss. It's important that your doctor understands your side effects and any symptoms you may be experiencing.

There are several screening tests you can ask speak with your doctor about, including: FIT, FOBT, stool DNA, double-contrast barium enema, virtual colonoscopy and colonoscopy.
