First off, I’ll start by saying I am a hypochondriac. I will google all day long and memorize every symptom to everything I may have. Ugh.
So about a week and a half ago I became very constipated. I reached out to my GP who recommended taking a full bottle of Mirilax with two big gatorades. I did that and stuff came out but I didn’t feel like everything came out. After that I remained constipated. He then put me on Linzess which makes everything come out. My poop is brown but I constantly feel bloated and constantly feel like I still have something in there. No blood in stool. I have an appointment with a GI in 2 weeks. No nausea or pain. Anyone else experience this. I’m also type 2 diabetic.

As a Crohnie (crohn's disease), when I eat things that do not agree with me I am often left feeling that way. It is exceedingly uncomfortable and if left untreated it can become very painful.
I am happy to hear that you have an appountment with a GI in 2 weeks. I do know that being diabetic can also mess with your bowel habits, but this sounds like you may have IBS. Hopefully it is nit somethung more serious, but make sure that your GI takes every single thing you are feeling very seriously.
For me personally I had to cut out a lot of things in my diet in order to stop having that constant feeling over never fully emptying my bowels. You might also have to see a nutritionist as well.
Thank you for the reply. It’s just so scary because minus the blood in my stool and weight loss, I have all of the symptoms of colon cancer. My primary care doctor put me on LInzess so it’s almost hard to tell if I did have bloody stools. I keep asking myself if I should get off of it temporarily, especially before I see the GI.
I would not be in a big hurry myself. But I have lost all faith in doctors and have put my faith in Jehovah Rophe, especially after I have had doctor after doctor misdiagnose me, and throw pills down my throat that cause all kinds of side effects, and in some cases CANCER. NOTE: These pills were NOT pills for IBD or IBS, but I am a big proponent of natural healing, so I personally got a product that has helped tremendously with bloating, pressure, thin stools, and the feeling I have not emptied my bowels completely. I have also not experienced blood regularly, but over the years, I have had occasional bloody mucus on the outside of the stool. I do have internal hemorrhoids, and believe they are part of the problem. So, please google Dr. Vincent Pedre, and the product is Gut Connect 365. No, it is not a cure all, but it has helped me tremendously.
I actually had my GI appointment yesterday. He believes it is IBS and called me in Bentyl. He also said that your brain can increase symptoms as well if it’s something you are worried about all the time. He said a Colonoscopy would be great to put the mind at ease if I wanted to. I actually was able to get an appointment for tomorrow at 9am. I started my colon cleanse regimen yesterday at 6pm. I will report back with findings after my procedure tomorrow morning. Prayers.
