Can anyone help with information about the possible significance of chronic flatulence, after eating? I am an IBS sufferer and had my last colonography 17 months ago, which was clear. I suffer from bouts of diverticulitis and have taken antibiotics for this. However, I am worried that I now pass odourless wind to an excessive amount, after eating anything, and get quite a lot of tummy discomfort and feelings of pressure and which is embarassing and unpleasant. I'm wondering whether I should have another scan.
Any comments welcome.
Thanks

Thanks for posting and sorry to read about your symptoms.
I think it is worth a call to your specialist to let them know what's going on. It could be helpful to take notes ahead of time to see if there's any connection you see between what type of food you eat and the flatulence. Have you started any new medications? Do over the counter treatments for gas help?
