I was wondering if anyone can help me because I am just being told by my doctor it’s my IBS but I just want a second opinion from anyone who might suffer from the same thing. For 7 weeks now my bowel moments have been all over the place, I’ve. It actually had watery stool, I’d say it was normal but I was going 3-4 times a day instead of my normal once a day. For the past few weeks I’ve been having what I would call pellet stool and when I google it, it comes up with constipation? But can you be constipated and still go 2-3 times a day. Also my stool is getting darker but I’m not sure that it’s anything to do with blood. I have not seen any blood in my stool, I do get lower abdominal discomfort constantly when I have a flair up, but I have not lost any weight and do not feel tired which I believe are typical symptoms of cancer, just just to clear up on the advice
1. Does my stool look ‘normal’
2. Is it possible to be constipated but go 2-3 times a day, and I’m really having to strain.
3. Does anyone with IBS have symptoms like this.
Any advice would be really helpful, I also forgot to add I’m a 26 year old male.
Thanks
