Is this colon cancer?
Hi LianneSalty ,
Thanks for posting and I'm sorry to hear about the symptoms you are experiencing. Do you have a specialist that you see regarding the external hemorrhoids?
There are so many possible reasons why you are experiencing those symptoms, but in order to hopefully identify and treat the cause, as well as to rule out colorectal cancer, you'll need to see a specialist.
In advance of your seeing a doctor, I would recommend taking notes of when you experience these symptoms, and see if there's any connection to what you are eating. Also important to share not only prescription medication but also any over the counter medication that you are taking, with your doctor.
Please make an appointment to get checked out and keep us updated. Hoping for the best,

Hello, sounds like my symptoms I have suffered for many years. These symptoms are scary, but they are very common. There are many colorectal illnesses that share identical symptoms. Your age plays in your favour so you do not have to be afraid of having anything malignant. However there are many obnoxious syndromes and illnesses(yes, haemmorhoids can have also quite severe or unusual symptoms) that also require medical attention and have to be properly investigated by Gastroentrologists in order to be effectively treated. I suggest making an appointment with your GP and demand seeing a specialist as this condition affects your quality of life and thus has to be treated. I suspect that the investigation will confirm haemmorhoids and IBS. They may want to remove the haemmorhoids - that being rather quick and painless, so nothing to worry about. Then you will be put on exercise regimen, hydration, ointments and dietary regimen of high fiber diet and topical+oral medication to tackle your symptoms. Get it checked by a specialist but try to do it ASAP as there is 6 weeks window for a routine examination and the Covid pressure on healthcare means significant delays (due to your age, any chances of a serious condition with these symptoms are so low that it is considered a routine appointment) Do not worry in a meantime as these symptoms are extremely common and have an investigation to get it treated. Stay safe and take care!
Thank you so much guys, I’m waiting for my appointment with the GI, I went to the ER twice got xrays and a cat scan. For both they said they just saw a good amount of feces in my system, nothing scary, which could be the cause of the thin stools. (Hard stools in the way) doc said to get back to the GI as IBS sounds very probable in my case.
