hi everyone I'm asking this for my mom, I'm very much worried, she can't have a colonoscopy yet due to the covid 19 outbreak it's unsafe to go to hospitals but last month when she went to hospital she got rectal examination and the doctor said she felt a mass (but she's unsure) that's why she got referral for colonoscopy, she was sad when she heard it.
can it be a tumor??? ㅠ.ㅠ

Could easily be a polyp, they are common and usually extremely harmless. Without the scope it's hard to tell. It's easy to say but worrying won't give her answers.
I don't know anything about colon cancer but I do have a harmless rectal polyp that is in a bad spot to remove so I live with it. So I do know it's very upsetting waiting and letting your mind think of the worst.
Maybe your mum could ring and see about having a chat with the doctor, it might help to put her mind a little at ease?
Just bleeding, sometimes just find blood in my underwear or when I open my bowels. It can bleed for a few days and then stops. Very occasionally it feels like I'm a little constipated. Not a lot of symptoms or problems most of the time.
