Hi everybody 24 year old male here any advice on what this looks like starting to get abit scared now, was having stomach cramps 3-4 days again and I think I strained too hard but not to sure what to think of this, I cant get comfortable my anus is incredibly painful.

I would have thought that discomfort in the anus after straining too hard would be more likely to be haemorrhoids - I had one there.

I had a false positive from a stool sample and a clear colonoscopy - and a few years later I did not immediately send off the sample, as I thought I would get another false positive.

When I was getting crescent-shaped stools I thought it was because of the haemorrhoid, but I had a colonoscopy and they found and removed a polyp - I had been getting discomfort in my sigmoid (the bit of colon between the descending colon and the rectum).

They said that the polyp might have turned cancerous.

I am 70.

you need to go to your GP .This could be haemorrhoids or a polyp in your rectum it looks low down due to being bright red blood but go and get checked out you never know.
