Sorry this is a graphic pic but I need people to know how much blood Im talking about. I just turned 40 years old and have gone for colonoscopies every 2 or 3 years for the past 10 years because of blood in my stool and I have a family history of colon cancer. Every time it’s the same results/story, everything looks good, couple polyps come back negative and maybe hemroids. Now the reason I’m writing on here. Now I’m having farts that I can actually feel release that feel like air hitting my underwear but it’s blood soaking my underwear. WTF? I’m farting blood. What’s the deal?? I’ve been to the Gastro doc so many times with no progress that it’s getting old. Can someone please help???

Sweetheart, I know this is an old post, but you should not be scared to tell your parents. They will feel terrible if you allow something to go on too long because you were scared to tell them and then it is too late for treatment.

As long as the blood is bright red.. its 99% internal hemerhoids.. and its usually associated with sm bacteria in stomache or intestine. Pylori maybe. Best thing to do is to take laxatives and no straining.. plus excercise and fibre supplement should help the healing faster.. but if u dont take precautions it can last many months.

Hi, new to this forum, quick question, if blood ita bright red, and mainly on toilet paper, but rarely on stool/toilet, thats most likely hemorrhoids related right? It happens on occasions, not all the time.I know that the right diagnostic should be given by a Dr but just trying to get some piece of mind . TIA

I see same thing sometimes and it's scary but it happens once in a while. Have never been to the hospital on that anyway cos it started when I was pregnant with my 1st n was told it's hemorrhoid. And has continued from then. Now I'm getting scared. 😥

I had and still have this and mine is not hemorrhoid. I had a signoscopy yesterday and have been diagnosed with proctitus. Mine is in ructum and is around 3 inches long I’ve been told by doctors that it was hemorrhoids years ago but have got worse and now have this and UC. I’ve been given meds and I’m now awaiting biopsy results. Hopefully good news and here from them soon. Have to go for internals again In 4 weeks time see if meds are helping. See another doctor and push for an internal incase it’s more. Good luck xx
