Have just asked a question, and meant to say, is it safe to have a lymphatic drainage massage whilst in remission?

I would discuss this with your doctor. I know some massage therapists won't do massage on cancer patients at all. Others go by what the patient's doctor advises as far as the type of massage.
Thank you that is very helpful.
It also depends on why you need the lymphatic massage. If it is lymphatic drainage because of lymphoedema then a gentle expert massage may be required to reduce the possibility of cellulitis and infection in waterlogged tissues. Either way you're doctor would advise or refer you to a specialist clinic if necessary. Good luck.
