A friend recommended dragon fruit to help with the slight anemia caused by the Imbruvica. I don’t remember this being on the of no no fruits such as grapefruit or Seville oranges, but I wanted to check with the members of this forum.
Aside from the unproven claims of benefit to the blood, I enjoy the fruit and would not mind including it in my diet.

A number of tropical fruits were tested for CYP3A inhibition. Dragon Fruit was included but the only one reported to have an effect in the abstract was Star fruit.
Star Fruit is the worst of all those tested. Pomegranate and common Pawpaw also have greater CYP3A inhibition than White Grapefruit. Pomegranate by quite a large margin.
But in vitro testing fails to take account of bioavailability, if the active component fails to pass though the gut wall it's actual inhibition of CYP3A will be much reduced.
