sooo I think I did serious damage to my knee and down to ankle. I am in so much pain I want to knock myself out!!! I thought it was just a sprain so instead of being smart and having it checked out I waited a week π³π΅βπ«. Never. Ever. Wait !!! Be safe. Seeing primary doc today. I think I might have pneumonia as well and possibly a reaction to the venetoclax π«π«π«. My lower "back" sides are getting sore. Last time Stony Brook doc immediately took me off of voraconizole when I had the sore sides. Maybe it wasn't really that .....maybe it was the venetoclax. Also raised my venetoclax dose to 200mg/day. My picc line has had no blood return the last two times (2 weeks) ππ«€. Prob time to take it out. I had first in the right arm for about. 5 months. Then they couldn't get it in right arm again so put it in left arm for 6 months. Can they put it back in the right arm again ? I don't want a port. Nope. Ohh my poor kneeπππ it hurts so much......

So sorry, hopefully itβs just a bad sprain and nothing more serious. I am almost at the end of my 2 year treatment with Venetoclax and have had right side back pain for for most of it. I had a scan, several blood tests and everything came back fine. According my doctor muscle and joint pain is a fairly common side effect. Itβs bearable but I will be happy to stop the Venetoclax next month.
Oh Kerry! Now everything is mounting up again! That car accident was certainly really bad luck!!! Hope they can help you today with xray and maybe plaster. Sometimes sprain takes very long time too. God knows you are just being in far too much pain right now. I dont know anything about piccline. Mine is there since four months and I just thank God every time it works on my twice a week blood work. It is really a blessing. So now they have to get your blood work through needles?
But if it wasn't for me going to doctor with pain in the knee they wouldnt have found the severe embolism that had been impairing my breathing for weeks π³ so that was another of what i call my "God moments" when something makes me go to the doctor for something else and something terrible is found. But I am treating now for that with the eliquis and I seem to be responding. A little nervous as I started chemo yesterday so not sure how or if it has any issues with a blood thinner, Eliquis π³. So far so good. Pain is gone (actually knee pain almost disappeared after embolism diagnosis so it was just the thing that got me to my primary who made the right call after I told her "oh by the way I've been having trouble breathing for five weeks!" And had scans taken that day at hospital and admitted!! So. All works out in the end. !
It is amazing how coincidence rules our lives sometimes! I just love those doctors who have the right feeling for what to do and doesnt hesitate to just do it!They are true heroes!
I was in the car and π€ my purse strap got wrapped around my ankle tightly and as I flew out the door purse got caught and my body flew out onto asphalt!!! I never heard such a silent parking lot in my life lol. Tho really wasn't funny. π«£π
I guess everyone knows by now that I was in hospital for two weeks just past because they found my breathing issues and pain in side turned out to be a massive embolism against my lung and major heart artery π³π³π₯΄ went in for a procedure and after 3 hrs (and wide awake) it wouldn't budge!! So they called the surgery and I went to room. They were giving me abdominal shots of lovenox which they found out causes clots in me not destroys them π¦, and I got another large clot in left side of lung!! Put me on Eliquis and stopped the Lovenox and also put me on oxygen. Home now. Eliquis seems to be doing its job thank goodness, my breathing is not painful anymore so hopefully it is beginning to dissolve the embolism and in the next few months my body will have absorbed them (also in my legs)I was told that embolisms can be caused as your cancer heals and enzymes are created which cause the clots! So back on chemo yesterday, hoping that I continue to heal my cancers without causing embolisms π³π₯΄π¦π¦π¦
