Another question ...

My mother is going to start treatment with Ibrutinib. However, she also takes carbamazepine. Does anyone have experience with this?

The specialist will consult the neurologist before starting. But still a question here ...

Thank you again for answering me.

You can use the interaction checker on this website. If there are any possible interactions between the drugs, speak to your doctor.

I would check with the pharmacist working at the hospital, This is their main function as a profession, to understand the chemicals we call medicine.

How they react on different body subsystems, how they react with other chemicals introduced into the body, what thy are supposed to accomplish, and what effects may take place is a pharmacist's function in medicine. 🙂

Hello, I take Lamotrigine which hasnt been changed. The Carbamazapine was changed to Levetiracetam. I take the drugs twice a day at the same time mostly. The Ibrutinib isnt like chemotherapy and your Mum wont lose her hair. Try not to worry, Anne uk
