I'm not wanting responses here but just passing on information that may help. I bashed my calf (lower leg, not young cow) accidentally and it didn't bleed but the pain increased esp when getting up from bed. I reluctantly saw the GP where my wound was dressed a week later and it had started to bleed a bit. I hadn't realised that it would heal better with a plaster. The advice I wasn't given but found online was to raise the wound above heart level to speed healing. This is starting to work. No responses needed thanks.
