Because of an injury to my lower back, foolish launch attempt of a Seadoo for grandkids to ride, I received a steroid shot and and orals. Because near the end of my oral steroids my back injury was not healed I visited a Chiropractor who gave me more steroids. Near the end of those steroids I visited the lab for my 4 week IVIG. As usual I receive a CBC at the beginning then get my copy to review. To my surprise my labs were normal for the first time in 13 years! Although I am on a quarterly infusion of Obinituzimab I have seen only a gradual/slight improvement of numbers. I credit the rapid change, +1.5 Hg, +25 platelets, +4 ANC, to the steroid I received. Is there any safe dose of steroids we can take as a prophylactic?

Imbruvica discontinued due to Afib, Venetoclax for 2years, Obinituzimab quarterly

As I understand it, no there isn't. The side effects of long term use are worse than the CLL

Too bad. Such a cheap simple and quick way to help our blood.

Quarterly Obin is an interesting protocol. First time I hear about it.
