I'm on year eight of W & W and was curious has to number of swollen lymph nodes you folks are experiencing. It has become something of a joke for us (my family and friends) about the number, size and location of my "boobs." In addition, there are periodic changes to all three.
I submitted a few unanswered questions to my doctor and then thought I would ask the group as well.

I get the results of a scan tomorrow, for the lumps under chin/around the tracea. I hope it's only lymph nodes. It's been a nightmare, trying to get anything done by the NHS.
You should request a scan.
Update: I went to the doctors appointment and the surgery said I didn't have an appointment, although I showed them a screen grab from the app'. I was asked to make another appointment for two weeks time. I declined...
Thanks. I'll ask the new doctors (mine retired last week) when I see them next week. I've been reading about the NHS situation and wondered what the hell happened to what I understood was one of the finest health care systems in the world. The US has the best, if you can afford it, and the worst for many of us.
The lymph system is almost as extensive as the blood system. My personal trainer worked with a lymph massage technician and suggested others try it. I spoke with my oncologist and she said it would be fine to engage a specialist. I have not done so but I did find instructions for self massage of the lymph system on the Internet and followed those directions. I was very gentle with myself and still recognized the effects. There are also some foods that help flush the lymph system, Pineapple, citrus zest, Coconut oil, Kelp. Check with your oncologist before trying either or both of the two paths. For what it’s worth; I’m eight years past my initial chemotherapy and my blood labs now are better than before diagnosis sixteen years ago and even thirty yeas ago when I started extensive annual blood labs. Get strong, stay strong, physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.
