switch from Imbruvika to Calquine
Hi farber,

Switching from ibrutinib (Imbruvica) to acalabrutinib (Calquence) is common when there is a side effect that is troublesome for the patient.
I did that due to a skin rash on ibrutinib, and acalabrutinib has been no problems at all.
Many others do it when there are heart (AFIB) or blood pressure problems.

Hi farber! I just switched a few weeks ago after over 3 years on Imbruvica - so far no problems on Calquence - my blood numbers continue to be in the normal range. I had a few really, really short-lived headaches during the first week, but not since then. Hope all goes well for you, too.
Yep , I changed due to very mild side effects , now I have none and my monthly bloods are stable.
AFIB an issue for me. Switched to Calquence from Ibrutinib after 3 years, and also had electro cardio version (AFIB turned to Atrial Flutter))and subsequently an ablation to cure Flutter. Combination of AFIB treatment and Calquence make me feel best for 5 years.
