Hi I am on watch and wait and my Heamatocrit has gone up to 48 was 45 three months ago is it something to be worried about my spleen was upper limit with a bypolar span of 12cm in February. My WBC was 38.4 in March and is 43.7 now and lymph was 32.8 in March and is now 37.9

Maureen, what have your red blood cell and haemoglobin counts been doing? What's your lab's hematocrit reference range?

heamoglobin 150 Heamaocrit range is 0.35 0.46 serem iron 15 ref range 10 30 is that the red blood cell one Thanks Neil

Your haemoglobin is a very healthy top of the range value, so this, with some dehydration could well explain it. Ask your doctor next time you see them, particularly if it's not lower next test, when you've drunk more fluids beforehand.

Thank you Neil it was seven thirty in the morning when I had the blood test so only had one cup of tea before I went for blood test next time I will drink lots Thanks so much
