Greetings everyone. Just wanted to write to share my good news. I was on the O+V journey and had a rough time. I think I had every side affect imaginable, but I pushed through. I kept thinking, "It is just a year, suck it up and then you will have peace on the other end." Well, this morning I woke up to my test result that I did indeed achieve uMRD. What a glorious feeling. I finished up my meds last week. I am still not feeling great (ended up with a bacterial infection and started antibiotics the same day I took my last 4 Venetoclax tablets). Today is the last day for the antibiotics, so I am hoping for better days ahead. Thank you all for being there during my journey. You always made me feel like I was not alone and someone always was having the same symptoms I was, so I wasn't as scared. For those of you just starting this journey, hang in there if it is rough, better days are ahead. I also gained my first two grandchildren this year and another is on the way for February. Life is good. My good friend and inspiration, who sadly passed last month after a 12 year battle with breast cancer, always said, "Life is a gift, untie the bow!"

So happy to hear this McBuster as I am on the same journey with O+V. I haven't had too many side effects, a rough start with the O and some tummy aches but my numbers are doing well. I had a dip in my Hb that concerned me but the docs say not to worry. Feel so blessed to have this option.
Thank you for sharing and I hope your have a loooooong remission
