After 10 years, 5 months and 24 days since a Stage IV diagnosis of CLL, including 8 rounds of chemo/immunotherapy, I have been found to have no residual cancer cells after a bone marrow biopsy at Dana Farber on July 21, 2022! Three cheers for 6 doses of Rituxan and 24 months of Venclexta!! I have achieved MRD!!!

That`s excellent news! congratulations! Hope you and family are having a special celebration.
Take care.
Sending best wishes from England....Enjoy life !
Congratulations! If I'm reading your Medical Note correctly, it looks like you actually achieved uMRD status, or undetectable MRD because no CLL cells were detected in 10,000. That means that you do not have minimal residual disease, you have uMRD which is equal to being MRD negative.
Confirmed uMRD is defined as < 1 CLL cell per 10,000 leukocytes.
Take a look at this explanation by Dr. Koffman.
Yay! Here's to a nice long remission!

And another 3 Cheers for Kevin! May the remission be long and durable!
Congratualtions on your victory! That would surely cheer up all the CLL folks still fighting the battle.
Finally some good news these days.
Congratulations, man!
Keep this remission for a long, long time!!!

Great to hear esp. as I'm half-way through the same regime. Do we actually have the same MRD testing approach at the end of treatment? My consultant didn't talk about this at all.
