ibrutinib effect on blood levels after 1 month use 540mg

hello everyone, hope you're well,

how did your blood results look after 1 month taking ibrutinib?

AST levels

LDH levels?

although my blood levels have been dropping steadily my bone pain from lymphoma seems to have gone. I know the average response rate for someone with DLBCL taking ibrutinib is 2.5 months according to studies.

I am just curious to know if othersalso experienced this initial 'bad patch' prior to things improving?

Dextar66, I see that this is your first post on this site. Do you have a CLL diagnosis? I'm asking because you mention DLBCL and are on a pretty high dose of ibrutinib.

If you do have a CLL diagnosis please let us know. I am fairly certain others will share their early lab results, although they will be from lower doses of ibrutinib.

Yes I do have DLBCL however I was just curious about CLL patient experiences too. There isn't a large number of patients taking ibrutinib who have DLBCL so probably wouldn't hear many responses

BW, as you can see from the numbers below my AST and LDH were within the normal range within 9 days of starting ibrutinib at 420 mg/day. I'm not sure what you mean by an initial 'bad patch' following treatment initiation. What was your bad patch?

AST Reference range 5 units/L - 34 units/L

5/29/15, 44 Units/L (High)

6/5/15 35 units/L (High)

6/20/15 Started ibrutinib

6/29/15 25 units/L

7/13/15 29 units/L

LDH Reference Range 100 to 250 U/L

5/29/15 326 U/L (High)

6/20/15 Started ibrutinib

6/29/15 165 U/L

7/13/15 157 U/L

By bad patch I just mean the initial side effects to your blood levels ibrutinib can cause, some may fall, others may go up
