I had my 5th jab yesterday lunchtime. All went well.
The other 4 jabs have been phizer and has gone in like a dream.
Yesterday I was given this Moderna Spikevax. What a night I have had, and in the office today. I can't get my heart rate below about 101/117. I get freezing cold and shake so much I can't use the keyboard or mouse in the office. My temp has been from 37.9 and down to 36.3. Pins needles in the hands, discomfort in the lower back. My eyes are stinging to get to sleep. Reading the info on the sheet, it list these symtoms. I did a later flow this morning at 5.30 because I was so hot, came out negative.
I don't know if I should call my nurse or wait for it to go. I am on cycle 3 with O and V which has been accepted well.
Any infor would be arrpeciated.

I had a 5th jab Moderna 21 June and on 1 July I had a tear duct operation with a general anaesthetic under an eye specialist/eye plastic surgeon.By Sunday 3 July my bladder and intestines had completely ceased up and I was admitted to ER and hospital and it took 3 days a catheter and meds to set things straight.I have had other GA’s and never had this happen and I was on veneteclax for 2 years-April 2o19 till March 2021 - wonder if there is a connection-the physician and urologist who attended me in the hospital have no idea -also had bad reaction. To both astra Zeneca injections last year -wonder if this 5 th injection Moderna ( have had 3 of them in total) had anything to do with my medical emergency-as a retired pharmacist I think no medical person knows -there is not enough data known yet-I suspect that this 5th Moderna contributed to my hospital emergency-anyone out there any thoughts?
Hi Westcountrylad,I had 4 Pfizers and opted for Moderna (100 mcg) for my fifth as I had read mixing the 2 might provide a broader immune response. My first 3 Pfizer’s were a walk in the park. The 4th knocked me down for about 24 hours with fatigue++ and muscle aches. The 5th (Moderna) knocked me down for about 48 hours and then another 2 weeks for my axillary nodes (under the arm where I had the injection) to get back down to their usual size. I have the SLL version of CLL so my nodes are already somewhat enlarged. Still in Watch & Wait. The troublesome, post-Moderna enlarged node area was also where I had the biopsy to diagnose the SLL - so there could be some scarring that made it difficult for the nodes to drain.Regardless, the side effects were worth it to me as it had been almost 6 months since my last booster and Covid isn’t going away. 🙂
