Why do we not see the actual dates of posts?
Sometimes I am reading old ones and the treatment has already improved.

Are you using the app? In a browser under My Feed, I see the title of the post, and underneath the title is the name of who posted it, along with the date.
Once you are looking at a post, off to the side are other related posts, containing some of the same keywords. These don't show the date.
All posts and replies show the publish date. While these show as minutes, hours, days, months or years ago, if you hover a mouse pointer over the date field, you'll see the actual publish time, e.g. 10:23, 01 May 2022.

If you are on a computer, you can hover over the time stamp (under the poster name) and a date and actual time appears---it is in very tiny.
T0 HOVER: place your cursor arrow on the time stamp and wait.
Also, note that we have the time differences across the globe that will make a difference in the specifics.
I find that some of the most important information on line often does not have a date or timeline.
