Hi all, I started my Acalabrutinib treatment 2 weeks ago.
I have to say I have no side effects other than a slight headache in the mornings when I wake some times.
My Lymph Node which have been up to 8cm in my neck and groin have reduced in my neck and only slightly in my groin so far. There was also one on the left side of my face (2cm)opposite my ear lobe, however that one has virtually disappeared.
My Blood counts are good but they were never high as I am more SLL
Does anyone else have similar results at the start and how long below all the Lymph noes reduce significantly, I keep checking all the time, I know I shouldn't and just give it time, thanks
Will

Welcome to the Acalabrutinib club! I too had large nodes in neck and groin before starting treatment. Looked like I had mumps! From recollection they went down quite quickly. I used to check them in the early days, then completely forgot, but notice they aren't there anymore. I also have lots of 'fat lumps' in my body, so don't always know the difference, but my haematologist seems to! Best of luck. Take care
Congratulations on minimal symptoms, that alone is great news! I am not on treatment yet, but from what I have read it can take time. Plus, they know now that some nodes have scar tissue and thus never shrink to normal,
