From someone who had it last week, no side effects but she said make sure you are VERY WELL HYDRATED before and after and also to go with a full tummy so eat before you go. It is an injection not an infusion so I would not think anything else would be needed or helpful.

Hi Ibru,

I received Evusheld a couple weeks back. No Benadryl nor Prednisone. No side effects of any sort either--not even a sore butt lol.

But I did have to pass a COVID test the morning of, & I was also monitored (BP & temp every 15 minutes) for an hour afterwards.

I had a Sotrovimab infusion and no preparation was given or needed. No side effects.

I had my Evusheld at the same time i was getting my IVIG infusions for the month. I read the material for the Evusheld and it had some recommendations for intervention, if needed, but nothing indicated prior to receiving the injections.

Husband had Evusheld yesterday no problems at all. He went well hydrated and had eaten breakfast of cereal milk and fruit.
