I filled out the form to make a monthly donation, however in Costa Rica we don't have countys, and the website would not accept a donation without one.
I'd suggest when requesting money you make it easier.

Thank you for letting us know. Hopefully, your post will bring it to the attention of the Trustees so that the situation can be addressed pkguk2
Best wishes and thank you

Jackie, I actually would like to donate as well, just not sure how to do it internationally.
One thought for people in the United States is you could have everyone o my side of the pond send their donations to me. When I accumulate enough and covid calms down, I'll put the money in the lining of my suitcase and bring it to London personally.
I would not charge any fee, other than of course a business first class ticket to Heathrow. I assume Cll support would pick up meals and lodging, I am thinking Royal St George would a nice place to stay. I would not expect cll support to pay for my golf. I could even meet you and Newdawn for some bangers and mash or toad in the hole.
Seriously though, I would like to donate. Is it as simple as charging a credit card for us in the USA? I think people worry about donating internationally with credit cards and such. I tend to agree with Dan. If there is a simple and safe way to donate, I bet you get more donations. And it might be simple and safe already, perhaps just someone explaining better how to do it might help.
I put mine on a US credit card, just check first with the card issuer to see if that card charges an international money conversion fee. Some do, some don't. Or at least be able to factor the fee in (I had to pay one). It wasn't much. The same fee happens when I purchase my sheepskin items from New Zealand Nothing is better than real sheepskin car seat covers! Warm in winter, cool in summer. Especially with a black leather interior.
Nice try Jeff! 😂
Have you seen pkguk2's reply below? Hope it's helpful

Many people in Latin America use Zelle when transferring small amounts in dollars. It is quick and has no cost. They also use Venmo, but I think Zelle is more popular.
You might consider setting up a Zelle account with your bank. It is easy and free.
Thank you @lupiter
pkguk2 is this feasible?
You would have to check with the bank where HU’s account is. Most banks work with Zelle. However the smaller banks restrict the use of Zelle to only personal accounts, not to business accounts. Big banks typically don’t have that limitation. Once you have registered -through the bank- as a Zelle user, transfers are a piece of cake, all you need is the email
address or phone number of the recipient and my his/its name.
Having a Zelle account for HU would be very convenient because most Latin Americans already are Zelle users and are accustomed to send or receive dollars that way. I don’t know about the rest of the world, but I would assume that Zelle would be popular there also.
Hi CCgroup. Sorry you have had trouble donating. I think you are right that it's not a simple as it could be. But if you put in the 'county' section of the form the province you live in, for example, Cartago, it should work. Thank you for writing and for your generosity, which is very much appreciated.
