Just to clarify:- you should have the third primary dose if you have CLL at any stage.
The third primary dose should be at least 8 weeks after your second dose as it assumes that you did not generate a good response to the first. You may then have a 4th dose early next year and that will be your booster.
The normal booster program requires 6 months and assumes you had a good response to the first two (ie healthy adult) and just require a booster due to antibody levels decreasing over time

I received my third primary dose yesterday. I was able to negotiate this with my GP as I have CLL and therefore compromised. It was 4 and half months since my second dose.
I'm slightly confused. I thought that as someone with CLL I was classed as immunocompromised and would receive a third primary jab. However, I spoke to my CNS to clarify and she checked with my consultant who said that as I wasn't on treatment at the moment I didn't need a third primary, just a booster. Is this right? X
