I had painful swollen gland in left armpit last year after flu shot in left shoulder. My first ever reaction to a flu shot. Notified my CLL specialist who advised to watch it. It resolved in a couple of weeks.

It is listed as one of the side effects, I had it after my second dose. My specialist advised to watch it too but it resolved in a couple of weeks.

I have "flares" where my lymph glands in my armpits, sides and front of throat, inguinal glands in my groin are extremely painful. My psoas muscles cramp, I do specific yoga to keep this at bay. The inguinal nodes feel like they are pressing on a nerve. I use hot castor oil, applied to a clean rag, as a compress for the painful swollen nodes. It usually works, if I can keep it on for 45 mins I usually have relief for the rest of the day. I layer castor oil rag, clean thin towel, hot water bottle. It is a sign of your cll getting worse if you get large glands that do not go down, so keep up to date with your physician.

It is for me, I had them with both doses. They hung around a while and then slowly went back to normal; and I went back to wearing garments that ladies are expected to wear - but without underwires. 😵

Underwires are evil in my armpit experience 😊

Same here, if I am going to get lymph nodes it is under my left arm, and underwires were really painful. So no longer bother with them.

Thank you. I am reassured and it is less painful today.

I also have painful lymph node 😞 in armpit after 3rd Covid vaccine 6 days ago but getting a little better each day, thank goodness. Strong anti-inflammatory and paracetamol helped a bit. Same happened after 2nd Jab. Dreading the flu Jab now.

I was given flu and covid on the same day. No pain on the flu jab side and pain where I had covid jab. It is less today and I am taking paracetamol too. thank you
