Booster and Swollen gland underarm

Thanks all for responding to my request, it seems that it is not uncommon to have the half golf ball swollen gland in the armpit of the phizer jab. I was seen by my Haemotologist, and he had felt a small lump. I was called back a week later and it had grown a little. He did not seem to be too concerned, no scan request, bloods normal progress, still on watch and wait. He did say it was CLL related, but also that Phizer has caused this type of swelling in others. He is seeing me again in a month, to check on it, he thinks it may reduce and go on its own. If it grows larger quickly, he asked me to call him and arrange a quicker appointment. Thanks again all, the feedback was well appreciuated. Ron

My armpit lymp nodes swelled to about the size of half a grapefruit after my second Moderna shot. No problems with the first shot. Everything was normal after about 2 weeks.

Thats comforting Richard, I wish I had known about these underarm swellings as a result of the Vaccines, I perhaps would not have nagst as much. I have seen my Haemotologist again, and he is not too concerned about the new lump, at the moment. Thanks again Ron

I had a lump after my armpit after my 3rd Pfizer vaccine. I had no reaction on the first an second jabs. It was painful and slowly went down over 2 weeks. I*t has gone completely now.

I have just had my third primary vaccination (Pfizer, first two were Astra Zeneca), less bad after effects than the first two but my left armpit was sore - happily no lumps and the soreness went away after a few days. I hope your lump goes away on its own soon. Regards, Clare

I also had a very painful armpit swelling after both the second AZ vaccine and third Pfizer, both went down after 2 weeks, thank goodness.

Just so everyone knows; It's not just this shot and not just people with CLL. A friend had a very nice lump with her booster even though she does not have CLL and hubby (who does have CLL) had the same symptom with his shingles vaccine. Hers went away quite quickly, his took quite a bit longer.

My lymph node under my left arm pit (injection arm) swelled after my 3rd Phifer and was extremely tender. It reduced in size about day 12. Stay 💪🏼
